ORO is a private business tool for gold dealers. It prices scrap gold against the live spot price, keeps a record of what you buy, sell and melt, and plans your buyer meetups. Everything you enter belongs to you and is visible only to you.
This policy explains what the app stores, why, and what control you have. By using ORO you agree to it.
Account — your email address and password. Passwords are encrypted and are never visible to us.
Your business records — the gold items you log, their karat, weight, cost, sale and melt prices, retail prices, and any notes or photos you attach.
Your leads — the names, social handles, meetup places, times and notes you save for your own buyer meetups.
Photos — only the images you deliberately pick or take when adding an item. ORO never scans your photo library.
Location — only while the Leads map is open, and only to centre the map on where you are. It is used on your device in the moment and is never saved to our servers or shared with anyone. Declining the permission leaves the map fully usable.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiling, or any form of cross-app tracking.
We do not track your location in the background or keep any history of where you have been.
We do not read your contacts, your messages, or your browsing activity.
ORO has no social feed, no public profiles, and no messaging between users. Nothing you enter is visible to any other person.
Your records are stored in a private database with row-level security, which means a request carrying your login can only ever read rows belonging to your account. Item photos are held in private storage that requires a signed link — they are not publicly reachable.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit.
Supabase — stores your account and your business records.
Resend — sends account emails such as password resets.
Google Maps Places — turns the meetup address you type into a suggestion list. Only the text you type is sent.
Apple Maps — draws the Leads map on your device.
Yahoo Finance — supplies the public gold spot price. No personal data is sent.
There are no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs and no AI services in ORO.
Dash → Delete account removes your account, every item, melt batch and lead you have entered, and every photo you have uploaded. It is immediate and permanent, and we keep no copy.
You can also delete any individual item, batch or lead at any time.
ORO is a tool for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and publish the new version in the app.
